Hello there, long time no blog. I've been busy with other "life" things, so I haven't had the time sit down and photograph/ write a blog post. I REALLY want to post outfit posts (it's mainly why I wanted to create this space), but it's difficult without having someone to shoot them for me - the tripod and remote can be tricky at times. Hopefully my sister will be able to help me out during her fall break *thanks Camilla in advance*. Plus, I don't want to publish anything I not happy with. Nevertheless, here's one for you guys. These are some of my favorite things I've been enjoying recently - think of it as a mid-monthly favorites. Firstly, let me just say, I've been enjoying the slight transition from summer to fall - the reason I say slight is because here in South Carolina, it still feels like summer.
Beverage | Okay so tea is usually my choice of beverage - on average I drink about 2 - 3 cups a day (it's my "coffee"). I've been really loving Jasmine Green Tea because I find that green tea is too strong for my liking, and the jasmine really helps to balance it out. I especially like the Stassen Pure Ceylon Jasmine Green Tea because it is super fragrant and you can keep adding hot warm for a second or even third cup.
Makeup | As for makeup, I've been reaching for this MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle. I've had this product for quite sometime - it was actually my sister's before I stole it from her. During the cooler months, I like using highlighter on my cheek bones because my skin tends to look dull and dry. Highlighter is a great way to inject a bit of glow and life back into your skin during the colder months.
Extra | Look at the beautiful Salt Crystal Candle Holder (the sticker says it was made in Pakistan). I picked up this beauty from TJ Maxx. I had been eyeing this baby up for awhile now, and it doesn't help that I had bought a pack of 100 tea light candles from IKEA ages ago. I like how pretty it looks when there's a candle burning, it gives off a nice relaxing vibe.
Tech | Would loves tangled laptop and phone cords? That's right Nobody. I found these velcro cord ties to keep my cords from tangling up when taking them around. These little things make life so much easier, okay that's an exaggeration, but they let you not stress over a bunch of tangle cords. And the final thing I've been loving is my new iPhone case! Yes, I've been using my brand new phone without a case. When it comes to phone cases, I'm super fussy about it because I need them to be just right. I found this case in the sale section of Office Depot - it was reduced from 19.99 to 2.94. I thought why not, at least it's something to protect my naked phone and makes me feel like it won't slide out of my hands. Also, the print isn't terrible - pretty simple and standard. This case isn't perfect but it will do for now.
